Jabble.co.uk is an online social networking site for children. On the site children are able to chat with friends through private messages, instant chat and play games online.

Registration

In order to use this web site, we request certain personally identifiable information from your child on the registration form. We require you and your child to create a username and password. During registration your child is required to give personal information such as first and last name and they are asked to create an avatar to visually represent them. Parents are also required to give contact information such as their name and email address. We use this information to contact you regarding setting up the permission for your child’s account and to obtain verifiable parental consent.

A child's participation or access to an activity cannot be conditioned on them providing more Personal Information than is reasonably necessary for that activity. Jabble does not share, sell, rent or trade your child's personal information with third parties other than as disclosed within this privacy policy.

On Jabble, users will be able to send messages, chat with their friends, play games on their own or online with friends. They will also be able to print out invites to give to their friends to invite them to join Jabble. Jabble will only use the personal information that your child provides to do the following: send your child a birthday card on their birthday; send them a Jabble message to inform them of new games added, or changes to the site; moderate their chat and messages. Jabble will only use the personal information that you provide to do the following: send you Jabble marketing emails and newsletters; let you know by email about changes to the site.

Children are able to use private messages to chat with their friends as well as interact with them while playing games. Our filtering software will remove all personally identifiable information within chat and messages. Jabble moderators also monitor all chat and messages, ensuring that all activity is twice moderated. We encourage you to talk to your child about safe use of Jabble and we will inform you by flagging of messages / chat of any such instances.

We are not responsible for any personally identifiable information they choose to submit in the messages or games.
